There is always more. 20 years ago this post would be mostly textual, but day after day I come across videos and audio clips that provide insight and perspective from a plethora of voices.
Hope it’s educating.

The amount of discussion on this situation is nearly endless. It’s beyond my ability to articulate it concisely.
My opinion goes without saying.
On this day, November 11th, we pay respects to veterans by wearing a poppy on our chest. Initally for the loss of life at the second battle at Ypres WWI, now it represents much more.
This will be my last update on this topic, and would I’d like to end with something close to my heart. When I recite the poem In Flanders Fields, I recite it a fortunate grandson of a solider who served in the Second World War and returned able bodied, who went on to farm and raise a strong family; and now a witty and active centurion. He keeps busy by working in his son-in-law’s shop tinkering away on wood or vehicle restoration projects among many other hobbies. His wife passed in 2018, half a century together, It’s almost fairy-tale, except for the horrors he witnessed in the Europe theater. Love you Grandpa.
